Job Title: Pastor Personal Bio: Pastor Mark Morgenstern was born in Dayton, Ohio and grew up in Lakewood, Colorado, a western suburb of Denver. He graduated from Dana College in Blair, Nebraska in 1974 with a B.A. Degree in Theatre and Speech. Pastor Mark graduated from Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa in December of 1978 with a Master of Divinity Degree. He was ordained into the ministry on January 28, 1979 at his home congregation, Holy Shepherd Lutheran Church in Lakewood, Colorado. He has served congregations in Hildreth, Nebraska; Pickrell, Nebraska; Earlville, Dyersville and Epworth, IA and Sidney, MT. He also served two years as Associate Director and then Director of Nebraska Lutheran Outdoor Ministries in Ashland, Nebraska. Along with his duties as Sr. Pastor at Atonement, Pastor Mark also is Adjunct Staff for Evangelism with the Montana Synod of the ELCA and serves on the Board of Directors of Christikon Lutheran Bible Camp.
